Getting Started
How do I create an account?
Click the 'Sign Up' button at the top of any page. You can register with your email address and a password, or sign in with Google. Your account is free and ready to use immediately.
Is SpiceClassifieds free to use?
Yes. Creating an account and posting standard listings are completely free. Featured listings, which appear at the top of search results for extra visibility, are available for a small promotional fee.
Posting Listings
How do I post a listing?
Once signed in, click 'Post an Ad' in the navigation. Fill in the title, description, price, category, and photos, then submit. Your listing goes live immediately after approval.
What are featured listings?
Featured listings are pinned to the top of search results and category pages, giving them significantly more visibility. You can upgrade any listing to featured status from your dashboard.
Buying & Contacting Sellers
How do I contact a seller?
Open any listing and you will see contact options — message through the platform, WhatsApp, or phone (if the seller chose to display their number). You deal directly with the seller, with no middlemen.
How do I stay safe when buying?
Meet in a public place for local transactions. Never send money in advance to someone you have not met. If a deal seems too good to be true, it likely is. Report suspicious listings using the 'Report' button on the listing page.
Vendor Accounts
What is a vendor account?
Vendor accounts are for businesses and professional sellers. They get a branded storefront page, the ability to post multiple listings, and a verified badge. Apply from the 'Become a Vendor' page.
Payments & Safety
Does SpiceClassifieds process payments?
No. SpiceClassifieds is a classifieds platform — buyers and sellers arrange payment between themselves. We do not process or hold any money for transactions between users.
How do I report a scam or suspicious listing?
Use the 'Report' button on the listing detail page, or contact our support team through the Contact page. We review all reports promptly and remove fraudulent content.
Technical Help
I found a bug. How do I report it?
Use the 'Report a Bug' option in the footer, or visit the Report a Bug page. Describe what you were doing, what you expected to happen, and what actually happened. Screenshots are very helpful.
